SOLAR POSITION TRACKING SYSTEM
This product must be suitable for the study of the operation of a solar panel that shall follow the sun light direction thanks to a motor system. Indoor or outdoor operation. Two axes solar tracker. Automatic or manual tracking. Compass sensor. Protection against gust. RS485 Modbus RTU communication. Control through keypad. DC power supply. Rotation: 360°. Compass 0-360°. Tilt between 0° and 45°.
This system must include also the following modules:
- Charge regulator module: electronic module for charge regulation of the battery with the current supplied by the solar panel. It must include a LCD display to provide information on situations. It must have: protection against overload, temperature compensation, different charge modes of the battery. On the front panel the following elements must be included: information display with navigation buttons, DC solar panel terminals, DC battery terminals, DC load terminals. Features: Simple button operation, Image of LCD graphic symbol, Intelligent PWM charge mode, Accumulated function of charge and discharge Ampere hours, Battery reverse-discharge protection, Battery Low Voltage Disconnection (LVD), Battery reverse polarity protection, Overload, Short Circuit Protection.
- Battery protection module: it must be used to disconnect the battery from the rest of the circuit and it must integrate the following components: 32A circuit breaker to control the battery, LED indicator for the battery connection and 4 mm security terminals black/red.
The system must include also a software in LabVIEW with the following features:
- Main panel showing the most meaningful parameters of the sun tracker, and allowing the comparison with expected optimal setting according to the actual / “given time” Sun position.
- Time Graph panel allowing to trace the behaviour of many variable related to the working condition.
- Setting panel allowing to set up the Modbus Rtu Protocol communication.
- Control panel allowing to control the solar tracker Manually or let it work autonomously.
The system must be supplied with relevant manual.
